A Sad, Sad Farewell...

I have the bonds to my family's seats at Texas Stadium. They are dated December 1973. So, my parents have pretty much had these seats as long as they've had me. I was born September 1973. This place holds such great memories for my parents, my grandparents, my cousins, my sisters, and our families. And...no matter what, I know I'll still be cheering them on Sunday when they make one last ditch effort for the playoffs vs Philly. I get mad at them, but can't help but love them at the same time. A special thanks to Kim's Redskins for beating Philly yesterday to give us another shot. We'll see what happens....

So proud of my little sister, Dina, and how wonderful she did throughout her labor on Friday! I am so glad I was able to be there and help her through the painful part then celebrate the birth of my new little princess neice, Kennedy! She was such a trooper, and as her nurse said, "she makes this look too easy!" She is already such a wonderful mommy, taking care of Kennedy and tending to all her needs. It is such a joy to watch her come into this role as mother....

christmas cupcakes...

We spent the night making Christmas confetti cupcakes. Parker loves getting out his Christmas apron and chef's hat (he used to call himself a "cheffer" - also known as "baker", but he has grown out of that and uses the correct words now). Unfortunately, Tyler feels a bit too old for the dress up garb for cooking....oh well, at least he stayed and helped !
