Smurfs Obsession & Tiny Fingerprints



I have a slight obsession/addiction to this ipad game.  I want to blame Michelle for it.  But, then there are others that could blame me for it too.  It's gotten better, only because my crops are taking longer to harvest these days.  I'm not a facebooker, but I hear it's the equivalent to Farmville.  I find myself looking at the clock to make sure my crops haven't withered.  It's nuts.  For me, it's about the challenge of "completing" the game...finishing something, conquering it.  Anyways....my boys are kind of obsessed with it too now.  They get in the car after school and sometimes the first thing out of their mouths is, "How are your smurfs?"  REALLY?  But....on days like today - when they are going to spend the weekend with their dad...I'm happy to see Parker's tiny fingerprints on my ipad.  He's a pro at Lazy Smurf's Fishing game (a game I'm not really fond of) so his little marks are still there....and I kinda enjoy seeing those little smudges on days like today.

Parker and I had a lot of fun playing with my new Incredibooth app last night....apps are SO fun!

Rainforest Cafe

Today Parker's class went to Rainforest Cafe and learned about the animals and had lunch.  He got a stuffed snake (and apparently had purple juice at snack this morning) because he looks like he has a mustache in all of these pictures....

We Called It The Super Bowl!

My nephew, Sam, played in what we called the "Super Bowl" of the 4-5 year old flag football league yesterday.  It was a big deal, because the whole family came out to cheer him on.  Honestly...I was so in to it, you would have thought it was the Super Bowl.  It went into triple overtime with Sam's team winning in the end!  We were SO proud of him and how great he did.  He caught one of the OT touchdowns and played AMAZING defense against kids older than him!  Way to go Sambo!

More Snow, NFL, and Green & Gold!

What a week last week was!  The boys LOVED every morning when they learned there was NO SCHOOL and we got to stay in our pj's and enjoy the day.  We had a great time Friday playing in the snow!

Saturday we loaded up and headed to the Dallas Convention Center for the NFL Experience!  We spent about 7 hours in football heaven.  The boys were SO excited and had a blast seeing all the exhibits, doing the football drills, and being a little part of the Super Bowl in Texas!

 Yes, Parker chose to hold up the GB jersey...he bleeds blue, don't worry :)

 TRUE BLUE COWBOY!

 Like I said...he has on a Cowboys jersey, but has been wanting a cheesehead for weeks.  He LOVES this thing!  He wears it all the time now!

GAME DAY!!!!!!  We would NEVER cheer for the Steelers, being Cowboy fans...so, we are game ready with GREEN and GOLD on!  Go Packers!

This was Parker as the final seconds came off the clock....great game, great win, GREAT JOB GREEN BAY!  Very happy for all the Packer fans.  Couldn't think of a more deserving QB!!!

As for the Cowboys....hope all the NFL hoopla in Texas inspired them to push hard next year!  Of course...if there is a next year...if the collective bargaining agreement doesn't go through....can someone keep Parker during the Fall?  He'd be depressed!!!!!!!!!! Lol!

Snow Day, Fun Day, Stay at Home Day!

We got our wish with a fun snow day at home.  The boys got to play games, stay in pj's a long time, eat warm cookies, and Mommy got a nap in!  We love a snow day at home!
