Family

One thing about my family that I am so thankful for is that I truly enjoy being with them. We laugh, we cry, we hug (a lot)...we just enjoy being together. In the midst of the pain and loss of Grandma, it was a joy to be with them and share in this week together. I am blessed.

My sweet Grandma, Gladys Jewel McCraw, went to be with Jesus January 26, 2009 at the age of 93. I am very thankful for the years that I had with her and the many years the boys had to know her. She loved people, loved our Lord, and lived with passion. She will be missed more than I can even begin to imagine right now.

Fever & Football

UPDATE: Over the course of the two days we were at home with this sickness...we did indeed watch this football game THREE times...he has his favorite plays memorized now. :)

Today my little guy woke up with fever and a sore throat....a few hours later we learned he has strept throat. I said he could pick any movie he wanted to watch and rest on the couch...what did he pick? He wanted to rewatch the Arizona Cardinals beat Philly again....(his new favorite #11, Larry Fitzgerald) so, there he is, watching a game he's already watched. Have I ever mentioned how MUCH this 6 year old LOVES football?
