Christmas Break!

School's out!  Parker enjoyed his last day of school eating popcorn, watching movies, drinking cocoa, and exchanging books with his friends!

 This is Parker's sweet friend, Berkley - they knew each other as babies and this year came full circle when they ended up in the same class at school!

 One of the perks of our new school is the boys cousins go there too!  We ran into Sambo in the hall on Friday!

I think it's safe to say Parker feels "at home and extremely comfortable" with his new friends!

Soccer Season Finale!

Soccer season is over.  Parker had a great season this Fall.  He scored the most goals on his team and really showed some new footwork and skills.  As good as he is at soccer, he is in LOVE with football and wants to play.  I think his coach knows he is leaving soccer, so he gave Parker a really sweet speech at the party and I think it was to try and convince him to stay...I have to say, I think I might miss it.

We'll see....

Veterans Day Program

Parker had his first program at his new school this past week.  The third grade did a Veteran's Day tribute.  They did a great job.  They honored the Veteran's that came to the program, and Pops came so he got to stand up and get letters of thanks written by the students!

Blue Belt

Tyler has now passed another belt test in TaeKwanDo!  He worked really hard for this one.  He's did a great job and he will get his BLUE belt at class this week.  I'm SO proud of him!

Parker did a great job with his book character presentation at school this morning.  He was Harry Potter from HP2.  He had fun walking in the school parade too!  I kept missing him because we sprayed his hair dark - doesn't look like himself!

OCTOBER 2011

October has flown by this year....I can't believe it's almost Halloween!  We've been busy remodeling our new house and getting it ready to move in.  It always takes WAY longer than you planned.  NO WORRIES - we only own TWO houses right now. YIKES!!!  Prayers for our other to sell please.  We also went to Vegas with my family which SHOULD have been a great trip....EXCEPT it wasn't.  I fell just as the taxi pulled up to our house to take us to the airport.  Being the stubborn chick I am....I played it off as maybe a broken blood vessel or muscle or something....the longer we sat in the plane, the larger and greener my foot became.  We ended up at urgent care in Vegas and my foot was indeed broken.  So, Vegas consisted of me being wheeled around in a wheelchair and being cooped up in the hotel room watching movies.  NOT FUN.  I got the famous large boot when I got home and now am sequestered into it for a good six weeks.  Don't worry....it didn't stop me from taking the boys to the WORLD SERIES.  Couldn't pass up that opportunity!  GO RANGERS!

We had a great weekend of WINS.  Parker's soccer team won their game and he scored THREE goals!  Then we went to the Rangers game and had a much needed night of A LOT of FUN!

My baby, Parker, turned NINE on Tuesday.  I want him to be my baby forever.  He doesn't want to be my baby anymore.  He is the joy in our lives.  He keeps us laughing and he keeps me on my toes 24/7.  He is the energizer bunny that has endless amounts of energy, yet has a heart full of empathy and love.  I'm blessed to be his Mom.  I Love You Park!

Sunday...

It's a lazy Sunday afternoon, we've been to church & lunch, it's too hot to play outside...so it's movie day.  I love that I found them actually sitting pretty close to each other, sharing a blanket.  They are watching Harry Potter 4 - we're making our way through the series.  In a short time, they probably won't sit beside each other anymore...so I took a picture - to remember.....

How in the world did I turn 38 today?  Yep, I'm officially OLD.  Birthdays aren't what they used to be are they?  I did get lots of love, good dinner, and many texts and sweet messages from friends & family!  THANKS!!
