Cousins....

Having a girl in the family is SO much fun...especially when I find a dress to match my boys shorts! :) Kennedy is all things girly and I LOVE having a niece to dress! Last week we went to the peach orchard with Pops & Mimi...fun summer day!

My Little Captain!

I'm going to take a minute and be a proud mommy! Parker received a few awards at the end of Cowboys Football Camp last week. He was in a group of about 40 7/8 year old boys. He placed third overall in the agility testing, his team won the "Superbowl" where he scored two touchdowns, and most importantly he won the "Coaches Captain Award" for the "player that embodies the qualities of leadership, such as teamwork, sportsmanship, integrity, and giving 100% both on and off the field". (that is what the award says!) I was SO proud of him!!! For many of you that know my little guy, you know how competitive he is. Especially when it comes to sports. He likes to win. It's as simple as that. I am really glad that he spent the week working hard and having a positive attitude to go with it! So, all of our talks about having the right attitude to go along with the athletic ability are paying off! (maybe...)

LOST in LA!

I haven't posted about our LOST weekend yet, mainly because I'm still in mourning over the show ending, ha! It was a great weekend and the pictures don't do it justice. Watching the finale in The Orpheum in LA with 2,000 people was an amazing experience. We met some really nice actors, and then there was the woman who played ROSE....not really a fan of her needless to say. By far Michael Emerson, who plays creepy but somewhat redeemed Benjamin Linus, was the nicest...I couldn't believe how nice he actually is! It was a remarkable night and a great way to end what we consider the best show TV has ever made!

Camp Cowboys!

This week the boys were in for a great time! They are at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington at the Cowboys Football Camp! They had a great time yesterday learning and doing drills on the field. They also got to meet Demarcus Ware, get their picture with him, and get autographs. I can't wait to see how today went! I took this picture this morning before they went down to the field. Such lucky boys!

Zoo Crew...

Summer Time!

Summer is here which means CAMP TIME for the boys. Last week they went to Adventure Camp on Lake Grapevine. They absolutely loved it! They got to swim in the lake, shoot bb guns, do archery, play games, slide on the big blow up water slide...it was a great way to start the summer. (they even gave me a photo cd with pictures of the weeek on it!) This week they are Lifetime Fitness Camp where they get to swim, rock climb, play sports games in the gym, and they went to Main Event and bowled, played laser tag, and games. So far they've loved every minute of summer, and I love that they are WORN OUT at night! They are sleeping wonderfully!
