Growing Family...

Taking pictures of my boys at the arboretum was fabulous (yea, right!) - BUT...taking pictures of my sister, her pregnant belly, and my precious niece at the arboretum....PRICELESS!

The interesting thing is...a few hours later, precious Kennedy fell and her tooth went all the way through her bottom lip....poor thing.  Auntie Misty is going to have to buy her a present to soothe the pain.  Luckily, no stitches...just some dermabond glue to hold the hole together while it heals.  I'll see if I can get Dina to send me a picture to post.

Spring Soccer!

Soccer season is well under way, and boy was it hot out there this Saturday.  Spring is surely here, right? 

Arboretum Blooms!

I took the boys to the Dallas Arboretum today and here's a sneak peek at what I got.  They are getting too old.  I'm sad!

Motion In The Ocean!

Parker had his school performance this week and did a great job!  Their theme was "Motion In The Ocean" and they talked about sealife and God's part in its creation.  It was so cute!

Lent

It's Ash Wednesday and for me that means 40 days of no Diet Coke.  For most of you that means, 40 days of GRUMPY Misty.  Our church celebrates lent and the traditions that go along with it.  So, I'm celebrating this year too.  We'll see how this goes...

Spring Blooms!

Last week Parker's class went to the Arboretum for a field trip.  They did a class about H2O which was a lot of fun and then we spent some time taking pictures in the gardens.  It is beautiful right now and I highly recommend taking your kiddos there for some FAB pictures!  I'm going to take my boys back without school uniforms on! :)

I found this picture of Tyler YEARS ago when I took him in March to the Arboretum.  It seems like yesterday....he grew too fast!

Happy Birthday Sam!

My nephew, Sam, turned FIVE last week.  I can't believe he's so old!  I don't really want him to get older...he's the funniest little kid.  The stories about things he says will have you laughing to the point of tears.  Things I love about Sam:  his gusto for everything, his crazy math skills, his one liners, the way he sings KE$HA songs (don't know if that's good or bad, but its darn funny!), his pushups on the sidelines of flag football games, but most of all the way he lets me hug on him even though I'm sure it REALLY annoys him.

I had to save this for last....Sam is one little dude with BIEBER FEVER.  I need to post a video of him singing BABY....He loves him some Bieber right now!  I guess that is BETTER than KE$HA! (he's not sad in this picture, he's just sporting the same look as JB)
