dogs...

Update: after a full day of pondering what happened yesterday morning i have softened my heart and actually feel bad for mac. it's not REALLY his fault that he got sick and being that he was in his kennel he had no where to run when the urge hit him! he absolutely never barks, i can't even count on one hand the number of times i have heard his voice at all. he obeys extremely well....so, since i have him and am keeping him, i am thankful that he is a good dog after all! :) but yesterday morning...whew....mommy was not a happy camper!

not a happy morning....i awoke to a smell...NO, it was a stench....

my lovely dog threw up and pooped all over his kennnel, himself, my laundry room walls, my washer, and anything else in his vicinity last night while i was peacefully sleeping. i spent two hours this morning in poop, vomit, lysol, mr clean, clorox wipes, mopping, scrubbing, moving my washer, moving it back, moving my washer, moving it back...did i mention all while holding my breath?

someone remind me WHY IN THE WORLD i thought it was a good idea to get this lovely creature? oh yes, the boys love him....me??? NOT SO MUCH!

Think Pink!

This weekend we had Dina's baby shower...it was SO much fun to see all of the pink! I can't believe I am going to have a niece to spoil so soon. Baby Kennedy is already a much loved little girl! So is her mommy!

Green Meadows Farm...

Today we went to the pumpkin patch and petting farm with Kindergarten. This is absolutely the best place to pet all kinds of different animals! I ONLY took 126 pictures...WHAT?
Here are four of them!

Holding a turkey (or chicken...I'm not sure!)

Milking the cow...that was a new adventure!

Sport Lovin' Boy

Conversations like the one below are our proof that Parker LOVES playing sports...hitting a ball, throwing a ball, catching a ball....24/7.....a ball in his hands. While in the backyard, playing football with Tim - here's how it went:

Parker "Owww...." (holding his finger)

Tim: "Are you okay buddy? Did you jam your finger?"

Parker: "Yes, owww..." (still holding his finger)

Tim: "Are you hurt? Do we need to go inside and quit playing football?"

Parker: "No, I LOVE jamming my finger. Throw me the ball!!"

Toothless Grin...

Parker's tooth has been wiggly for a few weeks now. Tonight a backyard basketball game helped his tooth with that last little nudge it needed. He came in from outside and it was bleeding and barely hanging on after the ball bounced up and got him. He decided he wanted to pull it himself and sure enough, he did! He's sleeping soundly with it under his pillow...

Broken Bones...

We officially have our first broken bone! I actually thought it would have been Parker, but Tyler had a run in with the playground and beat him to it! I'm pretty impressed, Tyler has been quite a sport...not complaining of any pain! He's received quite a few extra snuggles at bedtime, so I think he's pretty happy! We're praying for complete healing of his broken growth plate in his foot!!
